Ryan Barnett joined MK Dons on a season-long loan from Wrexham in August 2026, adding pace, energy and attacking quality to Paul Warne’s squad. The versatile right-sided player can operate as a wing-back or winger.

Barnett began his career at Shrewsbury Town before loan spells with AFC Telford United, Gloucester City and Solihull Moors. He joined Wrexham in February 2023 and played a key role in their remarkable rise, being part of three consecutive promotion-winning campaigns from the National League to the Championship.

His 2024/25 League One campaign was particularly impressive, with Barnett making 40 league appearances, scoring twice and providing nine assists as Wrexham secured promotion.
