Nathaniel Méndez-Laing joined MK Dons in May 2025, reuniting with former Derby County manager Paul Warne after three seasons at Pride Park. The experienced winger arrived with a strong reputation at League One level, having helped Derby win promotion to the Championship in 2023/24.
Méndez-Laing made an immediate impact during his first season at Stadium MK. Despite missing several months through a hamstring injury, he scored nine League Two goals and provided four assists in 25 league appearances, playing an important role in the Dons' promotion campaign.
His goals included the opener in a 2–1 victory over Newport County and a goal in the decisive 3–0 win over Tranmere Rovers that secured promotion to League One.
