Jack Sanders joined MK Dons from Scottish Premiership side St Johnstone on 31 January 2025, signing for an undisclosed fee. The 6ft 4in centre-back had previously played for Wigan Athletic, Kilmarnock, Cove Rangers and Ayr United.

Sanders made his Dons debut in a 2–1 defeat at Doncaster Rovers on 1 February 2025 and scored his first goal for the club in a 1–0 win at Cheltenham Town later that season.

He became a key figure in the 2025/26 promotion campaign, making 48 appearances and scoring three goals as MK Dons finished second in League Two and returned to League One. His performances earned him a place in the EFL League Two Team of the Season, alongside teammates Liam Kelly and Callum Paterson.

Sanders also won the club's Player of the Month award twice during the promotion season, in August and December 2025
