Charlie Waller is a product of the MK Dons academy, joining the club at a young age and progressing through the youth system to become captain of the Under-18 side. A tall, left-footed defender, Waller signed his first professional contract in June 2023.
He made his senior debut in August 2023, coming off the bench in MK Dons’ 4–1 EFL Trophy victory over Chelsea Under-21s. Later that year, he scored his first senior goal in a 3–2 EFL Trophy win against Northampton Town.
Waller gained valuable experience through loan spells with AFC Rushden & Diamonds, Billericay Town and Banbury United before stepping up to the National League with Sutton United in 2024. He made 22 appearances for Sutton and scored once.
Returning to MK Dons, Waller made his league debut in January 2025 and continued to develop as a promising young defender. He later spent short loan spells with Rochdale and Wealdstone during the 2025–26 season.
