Bradley Johnson joined MK Dons in July 2022 on a free transfer from Blackburn Rovers, bringing a wealth of Championship and Premier League experience to a young Dons squad.

The experienced midfielder quickly became an important figure during the 2022/23 season. 

He was named caretaker manager for a League Cup match against Leicester City while Dean Lewington underwent surgery for a groin injury.
